Urbana UMC exists to shine the light of the Messiah Jesus for all to see and embrace. Our MISSION<\/strong> is to ignite faith, unite hearts and serve with love. To accomplish this we GATHER<\/strong> to celebrate God's goodness, we GROW<\/strong> through bible study, prayer, and service, and then we GO<\/strong> to make a positive contribution to our community and invite people to join their lives to Christ.<\/div>

A \u201cdisciple\u201d is a learner who follows a master teacher. Discipleship is more than just the transfer of information. The goal is to imitate the teacher\u2019s life, embracing his values, and reproducing his teachings. It means we are meant to grow in faith, hope and love. At UUMC we provide several opportunities for intentional, community-based discipleship to occur throughout the year. Below are the opportunities we currently have available.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
