WE GATHER!
Worship is Essential
Salvation is not an individual pursuit. When we are welcomed into the Kingdom of God we are engrafted into a new community. The church is not an organization but a living organism. We are gifted individually for the sake of the community to build one another up. We sing psalms and spiritual songs to teach one another. This is one reason we gather.
We gather weekly to recenter our lives around the throne of the Father, Son and Spirit. We gather to enact the future day when all things will be centered around the throne of God. That time when God will be all in all. When every creature that has breath will praise the Lord.
To create space for this to happen, we at Urbana UMC provide a traditional service, a modern, contemporary service and children programs we call our Family Ministry.

- 9:00 until 10:00 am
- Songs for worship are traditional songs of the faith
- Singing and Choir is led by Amy Blanton
- Audio / Visual Team led by Tom Murphy & Jim Zaborowski
- Organ music is led by Karen Bocko
- Complete the volunteer interest for if you would like to learn more about joining the team
